I’m not going to lie, I have nothing but good things to say about Italy but Rome is one of my least favorite places in the world. In the summer it’s hot, overcrowded, and the culture in my opinion is lost in the swarms of tourists (this might be stemming from the fact we had no AC) BUT there are some places I found to be beautiful, intriguing, and special.
